Best Flippin' Card Show

The Best Flippin' Card Show has partnered with Black Dragon Martial Arts Academy for a combined card show and karate event at the Foxwoods Rainmaker Expo Center in Ledyard on Saturday, July 18th, running 9am to 5pm. The setup splits 50,000 square feet: an all-TCG floor with 200 tables in the front half, and Black Dragon's Dueling Invitational Tournament in the back half. The card side leans Pokémon and other TCG, so it's focused on trading card games rather than a broad sports-and-collectibles mix.

One ticket covers both halves. Admission is $20 at the Rainmaker Expo ticketing doors (cash or card), with entries 4 and under free and discounts for active-duty military and veterans. Note that ticket sales are handled by the venue, not the show organizers.

The event also runs a fighting-type dojo experience where attendees can earn a gym badge, and door prizes include a Nintendo Switch 2 and a Lego Pikachu set. Parking is free in the Rainmaker Garage, and vendors will be wearing identifying t-shirts so they're easy to spot on the floor.
